About Tyabb

Our kindergarten is an important and well-respected part of our community.  We work hard to build relationships with our families, schools and local community members to optimise the outcomes for our children.

We believe that kindergarten is preparation for life and so are inspired to offer the best quality programs possible for three and four-year-olds. Our curriculum links to the National Quality Standards and the Victorian Early Years Learning and Development Framework which aims to extend and enrich children’s learning from birth to five years and through the transition to school.

We provide a safe, caring and supportive environment that is sensitive to the interests, child development stages, abilities and culture of all children. We embrace our community and welcome families into our program to strengthen and enrich the children’s education.

We provide a range of carefully planned play based programs which allow children to move between the indoor and outdoor learning environment. Children are supported and guided to become confident, independent, thoughtful, creative, knowledgeable, imaginative, kind and caring individuals. Consistent routines enable secure attachments with peers and staff. Intentional teaching is ‘deliberate, purposeful and thoughtful’.

Our outside environment has been designed by an expert in children’s garden design; it’s beautiful and offers many opportunities for exploration and learning.

REGISTRATION
To enrol at a Community Kinders Plus kindergarten you must first register with the Mornington Peninsula Shire. This can be done online or via telephone.

Each council will then facilitate the offers of enrolment at each service. Once you have received an offer you will then be contacted by Community Kinders Plus.

In order to complete the enrolment form for your child, you will receive an SMS with your unique username and password. Do not attempt to login unless you have these details, attempts to enrol your child without these login details will be ignored and you will have to fill out the form again once you receive your SMS. FEES
As a not for profit organisation, Community Kinders Plus aims to keep fees as low as possible to ensure that families can afford the invaluable investment in their child’s early childhood education.  To view our Fee Policy please click here. 2019 TIME TABLE
Community Kinders Plus has developed the 2019 Time Table for the 4 Year Old programs that will be running at Tyabb. 3 Year Old session times to be announced shortly and will only be facilitated if there is adequate enrolments. Please note that session times are subject to change dependent on enrolments.

Community Kinders Plus is committed to offering high quality 3 year old activity groups for all children who attend. CKP has made the decision this year to employ highly skilled and experienced Diploma qualified staff to lead the majority of their 3 year groups. This initiative allows us the opportunity to ensure fees are affordable for families without compromising on quality.
