About Bentons Square

Bentons Square Preschool is a modern and vibrant preschool located alongside Bentons Square Community Centre in Mornington. Our busy and friendly centre provides a secure learning environment for 3-5-year-olds, which is enriched by our dedicated and caring staff.

There is much research to support the fact that in the early years play is the way in which children learn best and it is, therefore, the foundation of our programs here at Bentons Square. We work in partnership with families to nurture each child’s individuality, sense of worth, independence and resilience, assisting them in developing into enthusiastic, lifelong learners.

Our programs are developed by close observation of the children and are tailored to meet the needs and interests of the children as individuals and also as part of a group. The Early Years Learning Framework and Victorian Early Years Learning and Development Framework guide and inform our practice.

Two of our four year old groups have developed a connection with a local aged care residence.  The children visit, chat and sing with the elders.  The evidence around how beneficial this is for both young and old is a delight to watch.

Most importantly we want the children who join us at Bentons Square Preschool to gain a passion for life and learning AND TO HAVE FUN!

REGISTRATION
To enrol at a Community Kinders Plus kindergarten you must first register with the Mornington Peninsula Shire. This can be done online or via telephone.

Mornington Peninsula Shire will then facilitate the offers of enrolment at each service. Once you have received an offer you will then be contacted by Community Kinders Plus.

In order to complete the enrolment form for your child, you will receive an SMS with your unique username and password. Do not attempt to login unless you have these details, attempts to enrol your child without these login details will be ignored and you will have to fill out the form again once you receive your SMS. FEES
As a not for profit organisation, Community Kinders Plus aims to keep fees as low as possible to ensure that families can afford the invaluable investment in their child’s early childhood education.  To view our Fee Policy please click here. 2019 TIME TABLE
Community Kinders Plus has developed the 2019 Time Table for the 4 Year Old programs that will be running at Bentons Square in 2019. 3 Year Old session times to be announced shortly and will only be facilitated if there is adequate enrolments. Please note that session times are subject to change dependent on enrolments.

Community Kinders Plus is committed to offering high quality 3 year old activity groups for all children who attend. CKP has made the decision this year to employ highly skilled and experienced Diploma qualified staff to lead the majority of their 3 year groups. This initiative allows us the opportunity to ensure fees are affordable for families without compromising on quality.
